Intake gate ( Vertical slide gate)

The vertical slide gate is the most common and popular type of gate applied early in the gates in irrigation works to regulate water. Gates are usually fitted with rubber P seal on both sides of the side beams and bottom beams to seal the water. The gate is closed to block water when lowered in the lowest position and the gate is pulled up vertically to let the water flow below by a hydraulic cylinder system, electric winch drum or screw machine.
