ShipLock Gate

The ShipLock is normally a long narrow constructed canal type structure of suitable dimensions to allow a boat to pass through it or to raise and lower boats between different water levels.

The ShipLock Gates are located at both ends of the structure. The water level inside the lock compartment can also be raised or lowered through the intakes on the side posts of the structure to match the river water level to which the boat is heading.

An Hung JSC processes and manufactures all kinds of intake gate, radial gate, shiplock gate, crest gate (flap gate), swing gate… and installs them in irrigation and hydroelectric projects with the size of the gate up to 40m wide.

We also supply and install the operating systems including: Electric winch drum system, hydraulic system (hydraulic cylinders; hydraulic power unit, electrical control cabinet, scada) and operating instructions, technology transfer to the management unit.
