Description

Cai Lon - Cai Be Irrigation System Project, phase I, approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2018 with a total investment capital of 3,309.5 billion VND. Scale and construction of Cai Lon sluice gate has a total width of 455m, including 11 compartments, each compartment is 40m wide and a ship lock compartment is 15m wide. Cai Be sluice gate has a total width of 85m, including 2 compartments, each compartment is 35m wide and a ship lock is 15m wide. Valve gates and ship lock gates made of steel, operated by hydraulic cylinder system. On the sluice, there is a rural traffic bridge and a dike road connecting to the existing national highway.

This is the largest and most modern irrigation system project in the Mekong Delta region that has been invested and built in Kien Giang province, Viet Nam. Cai Be sluice has been temporarily put into operation from February 2021 to the end of the dry season to combat drought and salt, serve production and people's livelihood and has brought high efficiency to protect production for more than 20,000 hectares of rice and drinking water activities for the people; It is expected that the entire project will be completed and put into official use by the end of 2021.

An Hung JSC is trusted by the investor to choose as a reputable contractor to supply and install the hydraulic cylinder system to control the lifting and lowering of the valve, thereby contributing a part to the success of the super project.
